Will 2020 Be a Virtual or Augmented World?

December 27, 2019 – Demetrius Harrison, a regular contributor of infographics to this blog site has produced a new one that describes the history behind this technology and what to expect in the near future. When I saw it on the Robotics Business Review site I dropped a note to Demetrius and asked him if I could borrow it to share with my readers.

There is no doubt that the 2020s will see the emergence of augmented reality into mainstream applications impacting our daily lives, and virtual reality becoming much more than a gaming interface.
